When it comes to your wedding day, you want everything to be perfect. So, why wouldn’t you want your wedding video to be perfect? Something that people don’t understand is that a wedding video, like your wedding photos, should be a highly polished, professional video, on par with the kind of quality you expect to see on any wedding Television show, such as My Fair Wedding. We are NOT talking about a shaky, home video of the days of yore here. We’re talking about professional, polished, beautiful high definition videos that can perfectly capture every detail of your wedding day in crisp clarity. You will be able to hear every word of your ceremony, all of the vows, the toasts, and wedding speeches in perfect clarity.
So when you are looking to hire a professional videogrpher, understand that if they are a true pro, then they will have years of experience. They know how to use their video equipment and have a profound understanding of shot composition, as well as what will and will not look good in the final product. They also have a strong comprehension of audio hardware, how to best use multiple different microphones to ensure the highest quality audio in any different scenario they will encounter during both the ceremony and the reception. They are going to have tons of experience editing on professional video software and understand how to make sure your finished video is of the highest quality, and will look as good as possible. They also need to understand how to encode, author, and burn functioning, professional quality DVDs. The last skill set they bring to bear for your wedding video is graphic design. They need to be able to create beautiful, customized pieces of artwork for both the disc faces as well as the DVD cases themselves that will protect the precious DVD’s.
This is the entire process that your wedding video goes through. When you are hiring a videogerapher, you are hiring a producer, a camera operator, a director, and editor, an audio engineer, a disc authorization specialist, and a graphic designer, all in a single package. All of these talents must come together flawlessly in order to give you a finished product that you will simply love, and will be able to cherish for the rest of your life. So, when you think about capturing the memories of your wedding day, remember that a professionally made, broadcast quality wedding video can capture more than any photo album ever could.Details

We’ve got another fantastic wedding video completed and in the mail! I had a great time working on this wedding video, and our videographer Andrew Lillethun did a wonderful job, getting tons of incredible footage for me to work with. Please feel free to view this brief demo of the wedding:
For the first weekend in about three months, we had a lull in weddings. This was a blessing in disguise, as it allowed me the much needed time to get my new editing computer into working order. And none too soon, too! My old computer died during the process, it’s mother board giving out. My two year old son and four year old daughter were more than happy to lend a helping hand by holding a flashlight or handing me a screwdriver whenever I needed it. In the end it made the process take a little longer, but much more worthwhile.
Onto other news! Another wedding video got wrapped up last night and rendered out, ready to be authored and burned to DVD. With 7 more weddings needing to be finished, it is good to see another one on it’s way out to its new home!
We will be working hard over these next few weeks leading up to December to get the rest of our October/November weddings edited, burned, printed, and out the door to all of the patient brides and grooms who are waiting for them. Best of luck to all the brides and grooms out there still planning their big day!Details

Why have a wedding videographer at your wedding? Because a picture simply cannot capture your vows. It can’t allow you to relive your best man and maid of honor’s speeches. It simply does not give you the most tender moments of your most important day in real time for you to relive.
So when it comes to capturing every moment of your wedding, leave it to the professionals at Hi Def Weddings.
We are now listed on thumbtack.com! Thumbtack is a great place to find all of your wedding vendors.Details
